FACEOFFERS is pleased to announce that version 2.3 of the FACEOFFERS Portal is available. Version 2.3 adds support for private and paused Offers. It also adds support for SalesFlash posting to both Facebook and Twitter as well as management for authenticating access to both Facebook and Twitter accounts. We even added the ability to easily customize and brand the Offers Page.
Private Offers do not display in the More Offers section of the Offers Page. This makes them ideal for creating exclusive offers that only actual Customers can use. Simply create an Offer and mark it as Private. You can then use the SalesFlash feature to send an email or text message to Consumers that includes a personalized link to the Offer. You can also use private Offers with the API and display them however you wish.
Here’s a screen shot showing how the private feature works. See the Private checkbox in the below image.
Paused offers display a “paused message” when someone tries to the view them. We added the Pause feature, so that an Offer could easily be placed into a paused status if there was a need for it. Instead of deleting the Offer, you can now pause it. You can also use the pause feature with the API.
Here’s a screen shot showing how the pause feature works. See the Pause column and the Pause button in the below image.
You can now post an Offer to any Facebook Page (many) that you manage or any Twitter account (one) that you have access to. All you have to do is authorize SalesFlash to access Facebook and/or Twitter on your behalf. To do this, visit the Manage Profile – SalesFlash Accounts page in the Portal.
Here is a screen shot showing how the post to Facebook and Twitter works. Please see the Twitter and Facebook checkboxes along with the switch to select the Facebook pages you want to post to in the image below.
Here’s a screen shot showing how the Social Media account management works. The left-side shows the accounts that are currently connected and allows you to delete those accounts. The right-side allows you to connect the accounts.
You can now add your own logo, background image and truly customize other elements of the Offer Page to better reflect your brand image. This capability comes with the SalesFlash Add-on.
Here’s a screen shot showing how the Page management works. As you can see, starting with images, there are all kinds of design elements you can alter.
* Fixed an issue that wouldn’t allow the Share button to be clicked more than twice before the page had to be refreshed.
* Fixed an issue that wouldn’t allow the Offers Page and the Portal to work in the same web browser. This was also causing an issue with the View feature.
Version 2.3 is available as of 9/21/17.
