SendGrid Email Template

If you want to create your own branded email for use with SalesFlash, please follow these instructions. You will need to create your own SendGrid account for this. Go to http://www.sendgrid.com to create an account. You are responsible for all charges on your SendGrid account.

Step 1) Generate a SendGrid API Key

Step 2) Create a Transactional Email Template

Insert these placeholders into your email and FACEOFFERS will insert the correct data.

%subject% – Subject of the email. (FACEOFFERS – new offer from <MerchantCompanyName>)

%name% – First name of the consumer.

%offername% – Title of the offer.

%body% – The email template from SalesFlash Settings.

%description% – Description of the offer.

%companyname% – The name of the Merchant’s company.

%Unsubscribe% – Unsubscribe link. Has to be added.

%offerimage% – The URL for the offer image.

%offerurl% – The URL for the offer on the Offers Page.

Step 3) Enter the SendGrid API Key and TemplateId into your SalesFlash Settings as shown here.

Step 4) Send a test email to see what your creation looks like.
